SYSL players in Grade 4 and above who are looking to keep playing soccer over the winter are encouraged to register for a series of clinics by our partner Challenger Sports and Somerville's Recreation Department.

This program aims to train Age 10 to 18 girls in basic technical competences. Challenger strives to create a positive environment in which female athletes feel confident and comfortable to help facilitate growth and learning experiences. The female coaching staff aims to inspire, guide, and encourage players -- resulting in a greater enjoyment of the game and play at a higher level. 

These clinics will be held on Saturday evenings from 6 to 8 PM in the Somerville High School Gymnasium (except on 11/10 and 11/17, when they will take place at the East Somerville Community School gym).

There are two winter sessions and the registration cost of each session is $25.00:

Session 1: November 10 to January 5
Session 2: January 12 to March 9
