Our traditional end-of-season In-Town Jamboree is scheduled for Saturday, June 16. Additionally, current Grade 2 players who will be moving up to our Travel program will have their field evaluations during this event. These field evaluations -- combined with coach evaluations from this season -- will guide the placement of these players on their Grade 3/Grade 4 (U10) Travel team in the fall. All current Grade 2 players who will be playing in the fall need to attend field evaluations.

While your child has their field evaluation, SYSL is conducting a "Welcome to Travel" orientation program for parents. League officials and coaches will be on had to tell you what to expect from Travel, and to answer your questions.

The Jamboree will run from 2 - 5 PM at Capuano Field (150 Glen Street).

Field evaluations schedule:
Grade 2 Boys: 2:45 PM check-in, 3 PM field evaluations
Grade 2 Girls: 3:45 PM check-in, 4 PM field evaluations

GRADE 2 FAMILIES: PLEASE BRING SOCCER SHOES OR CLEATS, SHIN GUARDS, AND A WATER BOTTLE FOR FIELD EVALUATIONS.

Additionally, we'll have snacks and drinks on hand, with activities like pick-up soccer games, contests, facepainting, Knucklebones, and a clown.

There will be a uniform, equipment, and footwear swap, so if you've outgrown your SYSL uniform, shin guards, or cleats, please bring them to donate or swap. Travel uses different uniforms, so if you don't have a younger child who will be using your child's In-Town uniform, please consider donating that to the league.

Attendees will have the opportunity to save $10 on their Fall 2018 SYSL registration.

The event is absolutely free of charge and all families with registered In-Town (Toddler to Grade 2) players are encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there to celebrate a great Spring 2018 season!
