Nearly 20 coaches took part in the inaugural Somerville Youth Soccer Women’s Coaches Game on Friday, September 27th at Capuano Field, as the event celebrated an incredibly important part of the organization’s vibrant volunteer corps.

Commemorative t-shirts, along with pizza and soda, were distributed to all attendees, as coaches and members of the SYS administration enjoyed a spectacular weather night with fun and friendly competition.

“Our coaches are also outstanding role models in the community, and we are so pleased to be able to come together, share ideas, make new friends and embrace the diversity & inclusivity that the organization embodies,” SYS Registrar Meg Bride said of the game.  “We continue to celebrate the positive impact of our female coaches, and we look forward to making this a signature event on our calendar going forward.”

Cerca de 20 entrenadores participaron en el Juego inaugural de Entrenadores Femeninos de Somerville Youth Soccer el viernes 27 de septiembre en Capuano Field, ya que el evento celebró una parte increíblemente importante del vibrante cuerpo de voluntarios de la organización.

Se distribuyeron playeras conmemorativas, junto con pizza y refrescos, a todos los asistentes, mientras entrenadores y miembros de la administración de SYS disfrutaban de una noche de clima espectacular con competencia divertida y amistosa.

"Nuestros entrenadores también son excelentes modelos a seguir en la comunidad, y estamos muy contentos de poder reunirnos, compartir ideas, hacer nuevos amigos y abrazar la diversidad e inclusión que encarna la organización", dijo la registradora de SYS, Meg Bride, sobre el juego.  "Seguimos celebrando el impacto positivo de nuestras entrenadoras, y esperamos hacer de este un evento emblemático en nuestro calendario en el futuro".
