Registration for the Spring 2023 SYS season is now open for all players Ages 2-18!

Visit our Registration page and sign up today for all three of our programs (Tykes, In-Town & Travel). Financial aid is available to any family who requests it from the league.  Please note there will be a late fee assessed on all registrations received beginning March 1st.  Visit our Programs page for a complete description and additional information.

We are extremely excited to once again welcome high school players to our spring program after a highly successful season in 2022. SYS will field both boys & girls U17 and U19 teams that begin play in late April.

Uniform purchase is required for our In-Town & Travel programs for families that are new to SYS or need replacement items. Please order your uniform during registration to ensure timely delivery prior to the start of the season.  We understand that not all items that were ordered for the fall season have yet been delivered due to supply and shipping issues, and those items will be distributed to you or your child’s coach as quickly as possible.

We also encourage parents, caregivers, and friends of the community to volunteer with SYS.  As a volunteer-run non-profit organization, we are always looking for coaches and board members. No soccer knowledge or skills are required, and your generous donation of time makes such a difference in the lives of the children of our community.  Please note your interest during the registration process or email volunteercoordinator@somervillesoccer.org.

Travel Families:  Please remember that while the regular season ends on June 10th/11th, the MYSL Commissioner’s Cup will be held during the weekend of June 16-18 and the MTOC Tournament takes place the following weekend of June 23-25.  Please keep this in mind when planning vacations for late June, as if your child’s team qualifies for post-season play, the season could extend until June 25th.
