Somerville Youth Soccer is proud to sponsor our Cleats Exchange Program once again for any families looking to obtain cleats, shin guards, or goalie gloves prior to the start of the fall season.
Many thanks to Becky Masterson Wong for her tireless efforts in making this program possible. Please see more information below from Becky about available inventory, and you can email email@example.com with a specific question or to obtain additional information.
Summer always goes by just a little too quickly, and before you know it we'll be back on the soccer fields! So, it's time to check out the cleat situation. Maybe your soccer player has grown two sizes since spring and you need new cleats. Or maybe you can only find one shin guard. Or maybe you've got a pile of gently used equipment you'd like to donate. Whatever the issue - the SYSL cleat exchange can help! We've got cleats in sizes 2 through 11.5 adults right now - you can check out the regularly updated inventory here. We really need some smaller sizes so please consider donating those if you've got them taking up space.
If you need shin guards - I've got a bin on my porch and you are welcome to stop by anytime and grab what you need. I've also got a few pairs of goalie gloves in that bin too that are there for the taking. Just reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a time.
If you have cleats to donate, you can fill out this form and then I will contact you with my address. If you've been here before, you can always drop off in the donation box on the porch at any time. I am running particularly low on little kid sizes right now and those are usually pretty popular. Please note, the cleat exchange is for cleats, shin guards, and goalie gloves - do not drop off uniforms, socks or anything else.
