Somerville Youth Soccer is pleased to offer summer open play sessions for families in grades 1-8 on weekends that will run through Labor Day.  All players registered for the Fall 2021 season are eligible to participate.

Open sessions for boys & girls in grades 1 and 2 will take place on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the East Somerville Community School Field, while open sessions for grades 3-8 will take place on Saturdays from 2:00-8:00 pm and on Sundays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Capuano Field. 

Members of the SYS coaching staffs will be on hand to facilitate these open sessions that will provide an opportunity for children to enjoy playing as the summer months go along.  All participants are asked to bring appropriate soccer attire (cleats, shin guards, socks & shirt) as well as a water bottle for each 75-minute session.

Open sessions for grades 3-8 will run through August 29th, while open sessions for grades 1 & 2 will run through September 4th.  All sessions are listed on the SYS event calendar at somervillesoccer.org, and all registered families will receive Sports Engine notifications on scheduled events or any changes that take place.
