One adult chaperone per player is allowed to attend soccer activities

With many teams playing their first games of the fall season, here is some important information for spectators:

1. ONLY ONE ADULT SPECTATOR PER PLAYER.
This is a hard, fast rule. We love to see grandparents and other relatives at games normally, but this is not the game for that. There should be only ONE (1) adult chaperone at ANY soccer activity during this pandemic.

Note: Siblings are allowed to accompany the adult spectator, but must remain with them. Team volunteers do not count as the one adult spectator, so a non-volunteer parent is allowed to attend.

2. EVERYONE MUST WEAR MASKS AND PHYSICALLY DISTANCE AT ALL TIMES.
There must be an absolutely minimum of six (6) feet between spectators. Siblings should sit or stand next to their parents, but the next closest spectator to them should be at least six (6) feet away. The mask requirement applies to all siblings aged two years and up.

3. ONLY CREDENTIALED VOLUNTEERS AND REGISTERED PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD AND IN THE "BENCH" AREA.
Since all fields are slightly different, here's the COVID Era layout for each field:

Capuano Field

Only credentialed coaches and officials and registered players are allowed inside the fence. During COVID times, spectators with the away side are allowed behind the fence on the school side of the field.

Dilboy Stadium

Spectators are allowed only in the stands, but are encouraged to bring chairs or stand and not use the bleachers due to surface transmission concerns.

East Somerville Field

Only credentialed coaches and officials and registered players are allowed inside the fence. Spectators with the home side should in the main plaza in front of the school, with spectators with the away side behind the goal nearest the school.

Lincoln Park

With insufficient room for spectators behind the away bench near the schoolyard, all spectators should be at least 10 feet behind the home bench on the playground side of the field.

Trum Auxiliary Field

Spectators with the home side should be at least 10 feet behind the home bench area on the softball diamond side of the field. Spectators with the away side should be at least 10 feet behind the away bench area on the Franey Road side of the field.

Winter Hill Field

Spectators with the home side should sit on the hillside seating at least 10 feet behind the home bench area. Spectators with the away side should be outside the fence, behind the away bench area or behind the goal closest to the residences.
